Welcome to Girls Advancing with Purpose (GAP)! I’m Syreeta, the founder of GAP and creator of GirlGab. I’m a mother of four and a dedicated mentor to many young girls in Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of John Carroll University, I’ve always been a trusted and well-resourced individual. In 2013, I founded Fr3e Ministries, which I rebranded as GAP in 2022 to create greater opportunities for engagement and impact through mentorship and programming. I’ve partnered with organizations like Damascus Road Ministries, Counseling for the Culture, Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio, and CMSD, reaching over 100 young girls and women. I’ve hosted more than 15 programs and believe in holistic approaches that create safe, supportive spaces for young women. As a Qualified Mental Health Specialist, I work weekly with clients to connect them to community resources, improve social functioning, and help them develop coping mechanisms for stress, anger, and anxiety. Myesha Watkins

Board Chair

Myesha Watkins is a licensed social worker, violence prevention expert, and community advocate. She holds degrees in social work from Cleveland State University and completed Harvard Business School’s Nonprofit Management program in 2021. Myesha is the executive director of Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance, leading efforts in community-based prevention and restorative services for those affected by gun violence.

A recognized thought leader, Myesha has advised local governments and spoken on violence intervention strategies. She was honored by President Biden in 2022 and featured in Who’s Who in Black Cleveland and Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40. Myesha is also the founder of Counseling for the Culture (C4TC) and hosts “Healing with My Homegirls” therapy sessions. A proud Cleveland native and mother of two, she is dedicated to advocacy and community healing.

Verea Bibbs

Verea Bibbs, M.Ed., is a dynamic leader with a passion for empowering others. As a seasoned Business Executive, Educator, and Celebrity Host, she currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Bit of Hope Inc., where she combines strategic vision with a heart for community service, working to bring hope and positive change. Verea is also the Host and Founding Board Member of AspireCon, a transformative conference that uplifts and inspires women worldwide. Driven by purpose and excellence, Verea continues to motivate others to dream big and achieve even bigger.

Tiera Armor

Tiera Armor is a seasoned financial services professional with over 15 years of experience and a strong passion for community service. She has dedicated her time to helping youth, underprivileged families, and those impacted by domestic violence through volunteering and various community initiatives. As a board member of GAP, Tiera aims to leverage her business expertise to empower girls and young women, helping them recognize their self-worth and thrive in life. Guided by the motto "Where there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness," Tiera strives to make a positive impact one act of kindness at a time.

Cristian Brooks

Cristian Brooks is a proud mom of two boys and a licensed hairstylist with 19 years of experience. She holds a business degree with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising, and her career has taken her both nationally and internationally. Passionate about creativity and artistic expression, Cristian loves interior design and creative writing, though singing remains her first love. As a hairstylist, she has built strong relationships with women from all walks of life, becoming a trusted confidant and retaining clients for years.
